I'm following this company since Aug. 1997 and it seems as if they finally get their things together.
Transco Research Corp. (TRSD) is an emerging multinational, facilities-based long distance carrier offering switched voice services to long distance providers, commercial customers and prepaid calling card providers through a network of owned and leased facilities and resale arrangements.
Back in July 1998 they aquired Communication Network Exchange(COMNEX). Since then revenues grow dramatically. TRSD and COMNEX togeter had pro forma revenues of $ 20 Mill for fiscal year 97/98 (Jul 97 - Jun 98). TRSD recently reported revenues of $ 7 Mill. and earnings of $.02/share for the first quarter of fiscal year 98/99 (Jul 98 - Sep 98). They expect do double these revenues in the 2nd quarter, and reach $ 75 Mill for the full fical year 98/99. Currently gross margins are at around 10.6 %, they hope to increase them up to 20 % by the end of fiscal year 98/99.
They are going to finish their work on audited financials by Oct. 98. They are going to be a fully reporting company by Nov. 98.
There are about 6 Mill shares outstanding, of which 3 Mill are hold by insiders. At the current stock price of $ 0.375 TRSD has a market cap of 2.25 Mill. In my opinion the stock is a steal at this price. As I've said revenues for the 1st quarter alone were 7 Mill., so the stocks trades at only 1/3 of 1st quarter revenues and 1/10 of the revenues for fiscal year 1997/98.
Excuse my bad english. I'm just a small investor from Germany.
Best luck to all of you!!!
