UVSG is a 33 year old global diversified Media and Communications company headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma. UVSG develops and sells well known products like Prevue Channel and WGN to over 100 million subscribers along with other products and services to cable, satellite system operators, data communication networks, radio networks, and companies worldwide. UVSG companies include Prevue Channel, Sneak Prevue, Prevue International, Prevue Interactive, Prevue On-line, Superstar Satellite Entertainment, UVTV, SpaceCom Systems, SSDS, Televisions Games Network, United Video Network Sales, United Video Enterprise Solutions, and United Video Technology Ventures. Additionally, in transactions pending shareholder approval, UVSG will increase its product offerings to include TV Guide Magazine and additional video services. These transactions are expected to close in late 1998 or early 1999.

I have followed UVSGA for a year and they have moved up fast and recently performed a two for one split. They are in the acquisition mode and recently bought out TV Guide at a discount. I recommend that the company be checked out to discover the growth and investment potential of this company.
