Anyone else on SI get an invitation?

She finally called today, and I didn't have the heart to say "No." She knows that we don't have plans, and she knows I know that she knows. So once again the wife and I will have to smile graciously while we feast on "baby spinach leaf a la saltine," followed by delicious sugar-free gum for desert.

Let's plan on hiding real food and drink in the trunks of our cars, and sneaking out while she's in the bathroom (which should be every 15 minutes, if last year is any guide), I'll bring the beer.

Maybe, just maybe, we'll get home in time to see the second half of the Dallas game. But I doubt it.
