BEAT THE S&P - with Momentum, High Growth, High Earnings

It's been a tough year for the S&P - while the 2 prior years were the year of the index , the last six months of this year were a stock pickers arena.

With this thread , I'd like to concentrate on stocks that beat the S&P consistently . For example, YTD, the SPX is up approx 20%, while the OEX is up 27%. By simply choosing the top 100 stocks of the S&P, one would be up 7 %. But what if one were to filter that further - and trade in the top 10 stocks of the OEX ? And to use TA to time your entries and exits ?

Using this thread , I'd like to explore various ways to beat the S&P index - not solely using S&P stocks , but using stocks that have consistently turned in superior performances in both growth and earnings per share.
