As an economics major at college, I was amazed to find that one of the most interesting courses I ever took was "The Economics of Agriculture."

Although I have been involved in the "Wall Street" business all of my life, and spend many hours each day staring at a computer monitor, news stories about farming and agriculture seem to often catch my eye.

I will always read a story on things like emu production or high technology and its applications to modern farming.

Jon.
