I have heard through a friend of a friend that Huntington is a ripe target for takeover, since its operations are not nearly so efficient as many other banks of its size. I am opening up this forum to all who may have an interest in following the stock, and who may possibly have information on any acquistion plans. The bank's current value is $26 billion, book value $10 per share. In the past few months it has risen from about $24 to $32.
