This is a thread of remorse about not easily receiving the tips and strategies that seem to really pay off. Ask as you might, here or elsewhere, few of the true and tested experts in stock trading seem to be willing to just plain tell you how to make a bunch of money selecting and trading stocks.
Why should they? They have spent sooooo much time and effort in acquiring their skills and methods. They have substantial vested interests to protect. They don't want a bunch of newbies making money based on the strategies they have taught themselves.
In fact, the bottom line in this 'game' seems to be to cull here and there the tidbits that come your way, and to then really work at learning it yourself. Basically, you have to educate yourself, from the ground up. And that appears to be about the only way to enter into that elite club of successful stock traders.
So, this thread is just a place to complain and commiserate about not getting answers to questions you wish someone would just give you on a silver platter. Share your anecdotes. Share your trials and tribulations stumbling down the learning path. Tell of the pitfalls you've encountered.
But also perhaps write about some of the triumphs and 'eureka' insights that eventually came to you that seemed in retrospect to have made some difference in your trading, and in your life.
