STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The Position Trader site is not a day-trader site. The purpose of this site is to find and share information about stocks that have the potential to make significant moves within the upcoming 90 days, due to anticipated events. These anticipated events will not include rumors. Often, company PRs alert the public of upcoming events and the trading community ignores or overlooks them. Two examples are: the announcement by IMON that they would release WebZinger in two weeks (the stock went from 1.5 to 15 in a couple of weeks), and DBCC's IPO of MarketWatch.com (the stock went from 15 to 50 after the IPO date became known). There was plenty of time to position yourself for profits when these stocks made their moves. This site will focus on finding future position trading opportunities.
