Medix used to be a healthcare services company. But, it has a subsidiary called Cymedix Linx which is connecting payors, providers, and patients through an electronic commerce platform. Their technology is up and running. They have signed up 100k doctors through an agreement with Wellpoint. And, they are trading at $0.25 at a $5MM valuation. They have $20MM in revenues losing $2.5MM per year. It looks like they are bringing in an e-commerce management team, selling off the healthcare services assets to fund the e-commerce platform, and grow the company. It appears to have lots of potential.
