A new OTCBB order matching system

As some may know I am the former CEO of Block Trading, one of the pioneers in the SOES day trading arena. I have taken on a new project that involves removing the inefficiencies that exist in the OTCBB stocks by giving direct customer access to posting bids and offers for some of the BB stocks. The goal of the company is to allow individuals to have the same and order representation power as the OTCBB market makers in this area, much in the same way a SOES trader was able to in the large cap NASDAQ's.

Although it is technically defined as a Quotation Medium, such as NQB's pink sheets or the OTCBB itself, you may think of it as an ECN (electronic communications network) or an ATS (alternative trading system) for the financial reporting non exchange listed stocks. In addition to the OTCBB stocks, we will also match orders for ADR's and DPP's that meet our qualifications.

I am interested in hearing about the problems you have faced in trading these types of issues. Common complaints are some electronic brokers require you to use a live broker or avoid this market completely. Also the fee structure at some firms seems to be higher for these stocks than the normal commission charges.

I will analyze any comments and criticisms you may have experienced and try to overcome them by using technology within the guidelines of the SEC and NASD. In January, the company received a "no action relief" letter from the SEC permitting this type of system and is in the early stages of rolling it out.
