Monday May 10, 9:25 am Eastern Time Company Press Release inworlds.com Acquires Interest in Virtual Worlds Technology & Services Company SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 1999--inworlds.com (OTC BB:PCKT), a provider of virtual worlds technology and services for Internet communities, today announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire all of the shares of a company that provides virtual worlds technology and services for Internet communities. The acquisition includes core technologies and patents, three revenue-generating virtual worlds, and established licenses and relationships with brand-name partners. Under the agreement, the Company has agreed to raise $6.5 million in equity for the development of the business, of which it has raised and advanced $2.25 million. The final details of the acquisition are being negotiated. The Company will provide additional information once details of the transaction are finalized.
