The News was:
Scintilore Explorations Limited is pleased to announce that the trial commencement date for its case against John Larche and Donald McKinnon, Action No. 19321/87, in the Ontario Court (General Division) has been fixed by the Court for Monday, April 12, 1999, the earliest date available from the Court for the trial of the Action.

The Action is against John Larche and Donald McKinnon for all royalties and other benefits and proceeds flowing to them or their nominees from the Hemlo Gold Fields. Scintilore is further asking the Court, in a Motion scheduled for March 2, 1998, to order that the Corporate Defendants be bound by any such Order made at the trial, so that the proceeds otherwise flowing to Larche and McKinnon shall be redirected by the Court to Scintilore.

And NOW:

To all SLPers: Since it has now come to the final stages of this trial,I felt the need to share my opinion concerning the potential value of SLP.I have followed Scintilore for the last ten years and hold a large amount of shares in the company. My estimation of the final outcome concerning the total value is in the vicinity of $500-$1 BILLION $$$$$$... This relates to approx. $35.00 per share. At decisions end -sooner than later- we will all share in the pot of GOLD.
