On July 16,1999 the CDMA Development Group (CDG) is hosting the industry's first live, interactive, Internet broadcast session tailored to the telecommunications industry. Dr. Irwin Jacobs, chairman and chief executive officer of QUALCOMM, Inc., Craig Farrill, chief technology officer for Vodafone AirTouch, David Poticny, vice president, wireless global strategy, Lucent Technologies and Perry LaForge, executive director of the CDG and director for Pittiglio Rabin Todd and McGrath (PRTM), will share their vision of the evolution of wireless services and how the mobile web will become a significant driver of wireless growth with CDMA. The panel will also discuss the growth of CDMA, the prospects for Third Generation (3G) systems and recent 3G wireless harmonization efforts.
The event is live, interactive and online. Participants will be able to ask their questions during an open question and answer period and receive immediate responses from the experts.
