Hawk Industries Inc., through its main operating subsidiary West Environmental Services and Testing Inc., is engaged in assisting industrial, commercial and government organizations in environmental testing and environmental services. Their foremost goal is to maximize operating
profits for clients firms by minimizing the cost of environmental compliance.

These environmental services at HAWK began with providing accurate air quality source testing (stack testing) to industries in the Rocky Mountain West. The quality of these services soon built a reputation for providing accurate and precise results at cost-effective prices. In house
laboratory capabilities enables HAWK to retain full control of sample analyses and improve project quality, reliability and timeliness. This lab is fully capable of water, soil, radiochemistry and gas analyses which holds Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and National Regulatory
Commission (NCR) certification. Staffing consists of scientists, engineers, an industrial hygienist and administrative personnel with industrial,
governmental and independent consulting backgrounds.

HAWK also invests in oil and gas producing companies.

For the three months ended 3/31/99, revenues increased 48% to $746 thousand. Net income totaled $34 thousand vs. a loss of $39 thousand.
