A controversy is raging on the George W. Bush thread about whether the candidate strangled a cat. Evidence is that he only roughed it up a bit, because it was motioning in a way that indicated it was about to raise taxes.

So the question is: should the budget-busting feline cross GWB's path again, which is it--the death penalty or executive clemency?
