The biotechnology community has stratified into the haves (first tier biotechs) and the have-nots (third or lower tier biotechs). The recent run-ups have intensified this difference. This thread is intended as a forum to explore those stocks "left behind". These are the unloved- the unlisted, those spurned by analysts and mutual funds alike and probably shorted into a sub-buck corner.

Please nominate your favorite biotech stock selling for less than a buck in the last 52 weeks. Canadian and foreign stocks are welcome as long as they trade on something resembling an exchange. Good science and product clinical prospects which have been overlooked (not unknown in this sector) are preferred. Most all will have a real or imagined Fatal Flaw which brings them to the twilight zone of biotech capitalization.

Now for goodness sakes don't buy anything on here just because it's less than a buck. Do your homework before you invest. Remember- Your mileage may vary.
