Gentech Capital Corp. has completed an initial public offering of 2.5 million shares
at 20 cents for gross proceeds of $500,000, and has commenced trading on the
Vancouver Stock Exchange, effective Sept. 16, 1999. The company will use the
net proceeds of this offering along with $125,000 raised at the seed stage to
identify and evaluate potential acquisitions in the technology sector.
