MBAY, formerly the Audio Book Club (KLB), primarily sells audio cassette tapes through its club. They have alliances with Microsoft, AOL, Go2Net, IVillage, USA Network's SCIFI.com and RealNetworks, Inc. MBAY is currently trading around $13-14 share. In August Harvard University bought 700,000 shares at around $11 share. Other shareholders include Time Warner, Sony, and a fund advised by Soros Fund Management LLC. The company is growing and big players are interested. It will be interesting to see what effect trading over the NASDAQ will have. | ||||||||||||
