Their website is landacorp.com biz.yahoo.com WASHINGTON, Dec 3 (Reuters) - Landacorp Inc., provider of Internet-based and other electronic medical management solutions to healthcare payers and providers, said on Friday it plans to net $28.4 million in its initial public offering. The Atlanta-based company plans to sell 3.5 million shares in a projected range of $8-$10 a share, according to an amended prospectus filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Landacorp said it plans to use the proceeds for working capital and general corporate purposes including development and implementation of new applications, enhancing sales and marketing and possible acquisitions and strategic partnerships. After the offering there will be about 13.2 million shares outstanding, the filing said. The company has applied to sell its shares on Nasdaq under the symbol (NasdaqSC:LCOR - news). Hambrecht & Quist, SG Cowen and Volpe Brown Whelan & Co., the underwriters, have been allotted an extra 525,000 shares in the event of heavy demand. | ||||||||||||
