As most market participants know, the CME is in the process of demutualizing the exchange, through a set of mergers which will make the current membership (seat holders) stock holders with two sets of common stock, one representing the various trading rights, the other equity.

The S-4 is now available on FreeEdgar, and makes for interesting reading.

The question is, what's the play?
