Mirae Announces Successful NASDAQ Listing

HONG KONG, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Mirae Corporation (Nasdaq: MRAE - news) announces the listing today of its
American Depositary Shares (ADSs) on the NASDAQ. The Company believes that it is the first Korea Stock Exchange-listed
company to list on the NASDAQ.

``We are delighted to be the very first Korean KSE-listed company to be listed on this dynamic exchange, and we think this
demonstrates clearly our willingness to embrace the challenges presented by publicly listing in the U.S. markets' said Mirae's
chairman, Chung, Moon Soul, following the NASDAQ listing. ``Our listing reflects our ability to meet the disclosure standards
that international investors have come to expect and attests to our transparent managerial philosophy.'

Mirae's common stock has been listed on the Korea Stock Exchange since November 1996 and the Company has over 108
million shares issued and outstanding with approximately 60,000 shareholders.

Mirae is a leading manufacturer and supplier of semiconductor handlers, specialized robotic machines used to move
semiconductor devices during the testing phase of the manufacturing process. In addition, earlier this year, the Company began
manufacturing advanced surface mount device placement systems, machines which affix electronic devices onto circuit boards,
which it markets in the U.S., as well in Europe and South America, through Quad Systems Corporation on an exclusive basis.
It also recently launched production of new models of TFT-LCD handlers and testers, machines which handle and test a new
generation of flat panel displays.

Recently, Mirae has applied its expertise in software development by designing products that better ensure the safety and
security of on-line banking, trading and electronic commerce, and by launching a Korean language Internet search and portal
site through its joint venture affiliate, Lycos Korea, Inc.
