Register.com will release its Initial Public Offering in a few days and Wedbush Morgan, Deutsche Banc Alex, et al have already stopped accepting indications of interest. This is a well known site for registering domain names, but also already one of the more expensive, in terms of forwarding costs to private urls. Will this increase profits or decrease volume? Is the heavy interest the harbinger of another rocketing IPO day or a way for current holders to cash out while the stock looks hot?
