Introduction Market Data Compact

Just read interesting article in the 3/11/2000 issue of The Economist (p69) on mobile communications company DoCoMo and a great little wireless web browsing device that is not using a 'portal limitation' as will be the case with the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) standard European and US industy is looking at.

COmpany is 67% owned by NTT.

While DoCoMo might look a little risky, NTT looks like a fairly good long term hold, especially if they can 'incubate' stuff that is this 'off the wall'?

NTT even has a 'drip' - my kind of investing! Sending my application in now!

Any thoughts?
