Introduction Compact

TRW seems to be expanding commercialization of their store
of technology. As with RFMD, they are co-venturing with
another firm (Wireless, WLSS)to provide GaAs technology for,
I believe, cell phone station transcievers.

They also have the world's greatest expertise with Indium
Phosphide, which may well supplant GaAs for many apps, and
is also going to make inroads into optoelectronic devices.

Anyone out there know more?
