In 1973, a college student who understood the incredible potential of using the telephone as a marketing and customer service tool launched The All-State Promotional Advertising Company and quickly began to realize his vision. Today, that entrepreneurial spirit continues to drive the success of APAC Customer Services, Inc. Building on our unparalleled capabilities in outsourced telephone-based services, we have created CustomerAssistance.comSM, which markets one of the industry's first web-enabled CRM platforms -- e.PACSM. Using the e.PAC platform, web-centric businesses can now deliver an extraordinary level of service to online customers, resulting in more sales and higher customer satisfaction. 1999 United Parcel Service of America, (UPS), signs a multi-year extension for APAC Customer ServicesSM to provide network-wide customer care outsourcing, expanding upon an original agreement signed in 1995. APAC Customer Services appoints Peter M. Leger as president and chief operating officer, an executive skilled in developing strategic Internet and e-commerce initiatives for fast-growing companies. 1998 APAC Customer Services acquires customer capture and customer care firm ITI Marketing Services of Omaha, Nebraska. Combined, the two entities form one of the industry's largest and most robust firms of its kind. With the acquisition of ITI, APAC Customer Services is now leading the industry into a new category: customer relationship marketing. To reflect this evolution, the company changed its name to APAC Customer Services, Inc. 1996 APAC Customer Services' revenues reach $276 million. 1995 APAC Customer Services goes public, introducing its stock on the NASDAQ exchange (symbol: APAC). APAC Customer Services integrates customer service outsourcing with traditional inbound/outbound telesales to establish "teleservices", a new category in the industry. 1993 The company forms the specialized customer optimization group, focused on consulting, customer retention, cross-functional programs, and strategic marketing for APAC Customer Services' clients. 1990 Building on a strong Midwestern work ethic and an economical, well-educated labor force, APAC Customer Services grows quickly, with revenues reaching $5 million. 1973 An entrepreneurial college student has an idea for a business. Working part-time as a telephone sales representative, Ted Schwartz recognizes the incredible potential for using the phone as a marketing and customer service tool, and launches The All-State Promotional Advertising Company. apacteleservices.com | ||||||||||||||
