Introduction Market Data Compact

Spun off from Ralston Purina in April of 2000, ENR is the market leader in batteries including the Energizer and Eveready brands. It describes its business as a supplier of "portable power". Recent (as of date of this post) items of significance include launch of new premium battery, e-2, based on titatium technology; significant insider buying over last 6 months; appointment of new CFO.
