Civil political discussion - is it possible?

Is civil politial discussion possible? I would like to think so. All are invited here to discuss politics in a civil manner. I don't care how far left or right you are, the only thing that will get you excluded from posting is for personal insults to other posters or profanity, not for disagreeing with my personal point of view. I was excluded from posting on another "left wing" thread just because the moderator disagreed with what I posted. That will not happen here, the only thing I ask for is civility in the discussion.
Let's try to be adults here. Is it possible? I hope so!
