This is a place to say GoodBye to Mr. D, who will not be with us much longer.

I am moderating this board only to guarantee that nothing really ugly gets through that might hurt his family, other than that, anything goes!

I just got off the phone with Mr. D, one of the few men I respect as much as my own father. Mr. D. gave me permission to convey to you that his health is failing. He has Cancer and it is terminal. His spirits are high and as he put it, he is getting ready for the "BIG" golf game and his Tee time is getting close. He asked me and I am begging you, do not deluge him with items, cards, flowers, etc. He does not want anything sent to him and the only thing I am going to do is setup a site for those who wish to say something. Please use that as your contact point to say any last words. I will see to it that he knows of the site as well as his family, who can relay any messages. Folks, his family needs this time to themselves and he needs whatever time he has left for them as well.
