This electricity (and gas) situation out in California is fascinating and puzzling. For example -- I recently read that the price of natural gas is $5 per million Btu pretty much anywhere in the U.S. except California; it was priced at $30 per million Btu "at the California border." (1 million Btu is roughly the same as 1000 cubic feet of natural gas). Please use this message board to post articles relevant to the power crisis. And also -- discussion / comments on what is going on in California with natural gas, electricity, the State's finances, effects on business and individuals, etc. Jon. | ||||||||||||
