Why is the User Interface all jacked up?

No surprise to me. When the logo goes away, there will be NOTHING left from the old site. It doesn't MATTER what is wrong or what doesn't work or why. We don't understand CODE.

No, wait! My buddy Not Flargg is an engineer. He says it's simply an engineering glitch. He's an engineer. He can Write CODE. Engineers are never wrong. I know why, too. Writing CODE is an exact science. It has to be perfect. Some people can write CODE and some can't. We can't, so in any argument about CODE we are wrong and Not Flargg right.

Writing CODE is an Art. There is no set "right way" or "wrong way". It just works or it doesn't - like a Mars Lander.

I am talking CODE here. Not ten-minute Arsty Fartsy stuff. This quote stuff and navigation stuff is real CODE. Some CODE design has no instructional courses. Some engineers are so good that they do things that nobody else can do. There are no books on this, so you could not possibly understand how they do it. You can't write CODE, so you are wrong and Not Flargg is right.

Since there is no way we Lower Lifeforms can ever understand it, I say we just talk about something else. Food Processing, for example. Or juggling, perhaps. Or any thoughts about juggling articles of food. Leave the CODE to The Others.
