The company hired "Wall Street Examiner" to blast ads all over the place.
According to their US News and World Report (www.usnews.com) ad dated Dec 24, 2001 (delivered yesterday) this "examiner" (AKA "PUMP AND DUMP"), Tel-One projects "double-digit sales growth as part of the videoconferencing growth boom since 9/11." They also name "suppliers" such as "3COM Corporation (NASDAQ: COMS), Polycom Corporation (NASDAQ: PLCM) and Nortel Networks (NYSE: NT)."
Basically, they are using an excuse, in this case the Sep 11 tragedy, to create more damage to the American public.
In the little note (required by regulators), the company states that "MBS is contracted to receive $100,000 as a research fee," and "from time to time, buy shares of Tel-One in the open market." In my book it says "received $100K in the bank and has 3M shares to dump as part of the September IPO."
Bottom Line: Other than the one page ad, I don't know this company and have no plans to investigate it further. Years of exerience tells me that most of the people who buy this stock will at the end lose their shirt. The risk is too great that shares will be dumped before you had the chance to open your mouth (#reply-13843886).
