It's obvious to me that the probibility of widespread conflict in the Middle East is increasing. I'd like to open this thread to discuss which stocks will benefit from regional wars in the area. Obviously, gold and defense will gain. But, which stocks are the best plays and why? And for oil, I don't think that every oil company will benefit. Companies that depend on the flow of Middle East oil could be hurt. Canadian oil producers should rise. But, again, which companies and why? What other sectors and companies would participate positively? The best candidates would do okay with no conflict as well. | ||||||||||||
