I first heard of Apolo gold here where it is listed in a table in the following article: Storm Watch Update from Jim Puplava May 24, 2002 - The Perfect Option financialsense.com They are planning to go into production this year at the rate of 200 tons per day from their promising new high grade (both gold and silver) property in Indonesia. Apparently Martial Levasseur, President Apolo Gold Inc has been involved with this propertly since 1996, so it is not clear to me why Apolo has acquired this project only recently. Recent News release of interest: VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 16, 2002-- Apolo Gold Inc. (OTC BB: APLL - news) is pleased to announce the acquisition of a property known as Napal Gold Property, located about 60km southwest of Bandar Lampung, Sumatra, Indonesia. This property, consisting of 734 hectares, has a Production Permit (KP) in place, and consists of several high-grade veins, containing impressive gold and silver values. Extensive exploration work has already been carried out, consisting of approximately 50 trenches, varying from 100 feet to 1,000 feet, across the mineralization.
