BRIGADIER GOLD LIMITED TO COMMENCE DRILLING
June 27, 2002 (Toronto, Ontario) Brigadier Gold Limited will commence a diamond drill program on the Benson Creek gold property, Kirkland Lake area, Ontario, during the week of July 15, 2002. Drilling will focus on a gold zone 23 meters long by 1.5 to 4 meters wide. Channel samples in this zone assayed up to 0.21 ounces gold per ton over 2.0 meters and individual values assayed up to 0.47 ounces gold per ton over 0.5 meters. Grab samples assaying up to 1.20 ounces gold per ton have also been obtained from this zone. Drilling will test for continuance of this zone, and for other zones at depth.
