This thread is meant to be a good humored spoof on "disembodied voices"--an idea I got from a poster who claims she is disembodied (OR RATHER THAT HER VOICE IS)! It is meant in fun and not to insult the very real people who interact on SI.

Welcome to dddddddis em bod ied voices.....!

I will ask everyone posting on this thread to pretend 3 things:

You are not real (well, maybe you are; but others are NOT;-)

You do NOT have a body; or, at least, nobody BUT you has one!

The values, opinions, beliefs, and feelings you express are not genuine...or if they are, you are the only who expresses real feelings!

As long as these points are kept in mind, no real feelings will be hurt!

SO...disembodied voices....whoooooo are yooooooooo? (woooooooooo);-)

No disembodied voices meeting here are allowed to phone one another, email one another, meet one another for dinner--or for any other reason! You are not allowed to refer to your body (you don't HAVE one--remember!! You may not refer to your feelings--No body, NO feeling! Simple, eh?!

You are not allowed to share your values, beliefs, or opinions (people without bodies don't have values!).

Soooooooo....disembodied voices......whooooooo are yoooooooo?!

(Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!)

Finally, in order to avoid the illusion that we can know people by a mutual sharing of ideas, and feelings...we must qualify every few posts with a disclaimer. Here are some examples to help the mindless disembodied voices...;-)

1). I don't care! (STAMP!)

2). Maybe you think you know me, but you don't!

3). I don't care! (STAMP!)

4). Maybe you think you know me but you don't!

5). I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to the word you sign your name with for purposes of being addressed!

6). I don't care! (STAMP!)

Have fun if you post here, and remember: the people posting on this thread are NOT real. hey have invented their feelings and their thoughts for unknown purposes. They cannot be affected in any way or emotionally impacted!
