Fair, balanced journalism? Or unfair and unbalanced journalism? This board is created based on my own personal impressions, together with reading the below: fair.org consortiumnews.com Here's one SI member's impression of some FoxNews reporting: Message 18313573 So what do you think? Care to opine on the station's daily scale of fairness and its sense of balance? By all means, do so. Wanna critique in particular the FoxNews reporters or its special features? Do it. Care to provide a one-time overall opinion on the subject? Go for it? Wanna debate? Why, of course. Do you wish to comment on other media sources from which to benchmark FoxNews? Great idea. My personal opinion? I think any individual or entity continually trumpeting, over and over ad nauseum-like, that they are "fair and balanced" just might be a bit, if not more so, less than forthright in presentation. This forum is unmoderated, a free for all, if you will, and subject only to the terms and conditions of SI participation. I remind you that each participant's own consciousness is the primary guiding force for contribution. Good luck, and please do enjoy! | ||||||||||||
