Moyco Technologies (MOYC) is a multi-faceted consistently profitable co. MOYC 's CMP slurries have been endorsed and acknowledged by IPEC, the leading CMP machine mfg as having the best slurries for their CMP machines. The end of all the testing by the SEMI's of the newest CMP machines with MOYC's slurries is in sight. The beginning of huge revenues for a small co is insight.

MOYC has been followed and discussed on Prodigy by renowned microcap guru, Gary Grobbel and by many others. The stock has finally started moving. Joe Sternberg is the son of CEO "Mickey Sternberg", who handles investor relations. The Sternberg own about 73% of MOYC.

The BRASS of MOYC agreed to answer questions from us at Prodigy. Here is what they had to say:

Thank you for inviting us to this forum. We appreciate the
opportunity to speak with the investment community via this
medium. There will be some areas where we will be
intentionally vague. All questions are good questions and
should be asked. Due to SEC regulations, sensitivity of
customers and/or proprietary data we may be prohibited from
answering certain areas of questioning. We hope to be as
informative as possible. We are interested in your
comments, questions, and ideas. We view Moyco as a long
term opportunity and hope that our employees and
shareholders see our corporate vision. We would like to
personally thank Chris Forte and the rest of the Moycians.

It's tough to go first, but you are right, someone's got to
do it! We appreciate your interest. Our process has been
using slurries for greater than 25 years. This technology
used internally has recently been applied for use in the
semiconductor industry.
We work with engineers and companies on a confidential and specific product development basis. We have worked closely with IPEC and other CMP tool manufacturers in testing our slurries. Within the semiconductor R & D community, we believe that we are well
known for our CMP slurry products.

This is just an emerging technology and, due to customer required confidentiality, we remain quiet as to pr with industry trade mags. With time, we believe that our name will become well known and
respected within the entire semiconductor industry.
Remember, during the last year, we have primarily worked
under confidential agreements with R&D departments.

Darrell and All,

I forgot to mention that your questions have been reviewed,
discussed and answered by Marvin Sternberg, Chuck Picardi,
Joe Sternberg and others in Moyco management. Joe is
preparing and entering the answers. Anyway, back to your
questions.

Our capacity is much greater than current demand. We are
looking at ways to increase same in the event of substantial
orders from several sources. We believe that we are well
covered into 1997. Unfortunately, I can not report specific
capacity data for competitive purposes. We do no want
anyone from Cabot or others knowing our estimated
manufacturing capacities. Keep in mind though that we make
slurries everyday for many applications outside the
semiconductor industry.

We are not worried about capacity because of the long ramp
up times. For example, once a customer completes the R&D
stage, we will be advised if we are the slurry vendor of
choice. The lead time for our customers to receive CMP
production machines and to set them up is longer than the
lead time for Moyco to ramp up to meet slurry production
requirements. We are ready!

Hi Mel. Thank you. As always we appreciate your input.

Reverse engineering of semiconductor slurries is always
possible. We think it is highly unlikely for the following
reasons. Qualifying a slurry is a long range program as
engineers are not ready or willing to test for replacements
because of high costs in case of failures. We were involved
in CMP before people learned that this technology was going
to be the next step. In addition to the proprietary
formulation, our manufacturing process is confidential.

It is a trade secret of Moyco and is guarded like Coke
maintains the secret formula of Coca Cola.

In our case, the manufacturing process is really what make
our Ultraplane slurries and other CMP consumables unique.

Capacity is a sensitive question but we do have contingent
plans for substantial volume.

Mel, our manufacturing process is proprietary, however,
cross contamination issues are always considered and
monitored by our quality control procedures. Moyco
sub-micron abrasives are of the highest quality as a result
of our QC department. >>>

Employees dedicated to slurry production is confidential.
Moyco has about 25 production employees for all abrasive
products.

Chuck Picardi reports to Clarence Bartron, Facilities
Manager for the Ultralap Abrasives Division. Chuck also
works closely with Mark Sternberg and other production and
research personnel. In addition, there are other alliances
(domestic & global) for research and development.

Mr. Bartron has been manufacturing and marketing various
abrasive products for 25 years. Moyco's special consultant
- not to be named here - worked on the early stages of sub-
micron abrasive development. We have been told that initial
orders for tools (such as IPEC equipment) for metal CMP are
headed for R&D labs. The date that these labs give a release
for actual manufacture is not determined by Moyco. Our best
estimates are that the lag time after the lab approves a
particular CMP process is 6 months to 1 year. This is
because, we must account for production of the tools,
delivery, and set up.

While we are confident of the performance and quality of our products, the time necessary to qualify and to pass from R&D to production is dictated by our customers. Therefore, timing issues are difficult to
address. >>>

CMP machines consume slurry at different rates based on
process and machine. Are we talking about IPEC, SpeedFAM,
Applied Materials, Ontrak, etc. We do know that these
machines consume a lot of slurry, not quite as much as the
Colorado river at high tide - just a joke! For a wafer
that uses 3 layers of oxide and 2 layers of tungsten, about
200 ml per layer per wafer.

According to the industry reports, by year 2000, the CMP
market will be about 735 million, of that consumables will
be about 250 million and slurries about 150 million.

Since, I am running short on time, please calculate the percentages
Mel, these numbers are what we have been able to gather from
independent research and surveys. We know that you have
also done some looking into the size of this market and
appreciate your input on this issue.

Look forward to having more discussions with you about the
state of affairs for Moycians!

Glenn, Hi!
We all thank you for the neat outline of questions.

1. The interview you refer to was over a year ago so some
things have changed but, in general most of the interview is
still accurate today. The opportunities are there to reach
high numbers, however predicting the future is difficult
especially as to timing. As of tody, we would probably
adjust our goals to 25 million to 50 million by the turn of
the century. But this goal will be predicated on success in
A. CMP
B. Fiber Optic Products - On these abrasive >>>
products, we are already a market leader because of our
superior sub-micron evenly coated films. On page 103 of
"The Road Ahead" by Bill Gates, he states "Most of the
wiresconnecting servers with one another, and with the
neighborhoods of the world, will be made of incredibly clear
fiber-optic cable, the 'asphalt' of the information highway.
All of the major long distance trunk lines that carry
telephone calls within the US today use fiber, but the
lines that connect our homes to these data thoroughfares are
still copper wire.

Telephone companies will replace the copper wire, microwave, and satellite links in their networks with fiber-optic cable so they will have the bandwidth to carry enough bits to deliver high quality
video... Eventually, though, fiber connections may run
directly into your home if you use lots of data." In short,
the more connectors, the more that the cut fiber optic tips
will have to be polished with Moyco precision abrasives.
C. Diamond products.
D. New Product development
E. Acquisition Program

And further market shares for both abrasive and dental
products. We are persuing all avenues. Timing issues as to
when we hit our revenue goals can not be given today with
any degree of certainty. Regardless of sales, the prime
indicator will be profits!!!

2. Yes! We do believe that a secondary offering or private
placement may be necessary to attain our goals. As of
today, there is nothing to announce on these issues. Any
announcement would be made via our standard newswire
service.

3. Thanks for reminding me of my age. Although I work very
hard, I am not laboring at my work!!! I truly enjoy what I
do and have no plans of retiring in the immediate future.>>
We have been working on the next generation and succession
but do not want to be pushed upstairs yet.

4. The IPEC Agreement was revised by mutual consent
because, after much discussion, it did not serve the best
interests of either party. We are both now free to market
what we individually do best. IPEC sells machines. Moyco
sells consumables. Moyco tungsten slurry offers superior
results on IPEC metal machines. We are in the process of
testing to produce similar data on other CMP machines.

5. Looking 18 months in the future? The timing of the CMP
processes moving from R&D to production will determine
revenues and product mix. With minimum success and without
consideration for acquisitions, in 18 months, we hope and
believe that we will have CMP slurries going at a
substantial annual basis for Moyco with current revenues of
approx 12 million. At that point, revenues may still be
greater from the Moyco Union Broach dental division but the
Abrasives Division by that time should be close to matching
dental sales and may surpass same within this time frame.

Products for fiber optics should remain our top abrasive
product although it is possible, that sometime toward the
end of the 18 month time frame, CMP sales could well exceed

The total slurry market according to the O'Mara report, a
well known study on the CMP market, suggests that slurry
sales will reach approximately 200 million by year 2000.
30% of this is for metal slurries and the percentage for
metal slurries is expected to rise. Balance is for
primarily oxide slurries. Aluminum slurries are on the
horizon.

Testing is being conducted and success will dictate percentage of market for Moyco. We are working with about 10 semiconductor manufacturers at this point in R&D and testing.
Cabot and Rodell are the main slurry competitors today.

We believe that the train has pulled out of the station for
this process but volume and new developments could entice
more to make the investment. Due to the extreme entrance
fees for playing this game, there is a significant barrier
to additional competition.

Thanks for your questions.
