During every big event, such as todays loss of the shuttle Columbia, the media seems to overload the public airwaves with stupid questions and comments, and the inevitable phonecall interview with the "eyewitness" who saw absolutley nothing. This thread will be devoted to such asinine dribble as the two ABC radio correspondents who were discussing how January is such a bad month for NASA what with Apollo 1 and the Challenger mishap and now Columbia. But then someone informed them that that would be true if not for the fact that this was Feburary 1. Or the brainless CNN correspondent who asked Walter Cronkite if he thought that man would ever return to space. Or the CNN phone interview with the "Eyewitness" in Texas who said he saw a plane fly very close to the shuttle just as it exploded. Must have been one of those new low space transport planes. So let's find the stupid stuff, and post it here. | ||||||||||||
