The cash-rich ASX used to have the size of about 1/3 of its larger competitor – Amkor about 3 years ago. But it is now running neck to neck with it.

With its low debt/equity ratio of 1.11 favorably compared to AMKR (7.5) and CHPC (2.48), abundant cash ($427 million vs $351.5 million and 26.7 million for AMKR and CHPC), and its strong tie to the Great China economy, it is probably just a matter of time that ASX will surpass all its competitors in the near future as it claimed.
