Tiger Telematics (TIGR) is the company behind GAMETRAC, a next-generation feature-packed mobile gaming machine that was just unveiled at the 2004 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. In addition to its advanced gaming capabilities, Gametrac can also serve as an MP3 player, a video player that allows its user to view full-feature films via the unit's SD Card slot, a versatile messaging facility, and a high-quality digital camera. This futuristic little device is about to lock horns (and Sparky thinks very effectively) with the likes of Nokia with its just-marked-down-but-still-not-doing-too-well gaming cell phone it calls N-Gage, Tapwave with its expensive Zodiac models, Sony with its new probably-not-until-2005 PSP (Portable PlayStation), and Nintendo with its new dual screen unit called DS that it's planning to unveil in May and hopes to begin selling in late 2004. And Sparky finds it particularly interesting that Gametrac is the ONLY mobile gaming machine that uses a Microsoft Windows (CE.NET) operating system. It's interesting because it's one of the reasons why Gametrac performs more functions than competing units. But the CE.NET operating system is "particularly" interesting because it means Gametrac could end up being the entry vehicle Microsoft uses to capture a big old slice of this mobile gaming market pie. Think about it! Microsoft (MSFT) is the planet's largest software producer, MSFT is well aware of the mobile gaming industry's ongoing growth and its explosive potential, MSFT would love a big piece of this market, and Gametrac's already using Windows. Hello! Sparky here foresees a near-term relationship between MSFT & TIGR, a very bright future for Gametrac, and TIGR shareholders that will be very, very well rewarded. To conclude, TIGR shares are a great buy at 25 cents! Sincerely, Sparky | ||||||||||||||
