CGI Holding Corporation (stock symbol: THK), soon to be renamed Think Partnership, Inc., is a solidly profitable Internet company operating in two market segments. The company’s KeywordRanking division provides search engine optimization services, helping companies to identify potential customers by targeting words used to search for products or services. The company’s Cherish division operates a number on online dating communities. THK’s growth has been driven primarily through a series of acquisitions. The company has already completed five acquisitions during the first quarter of 2005 and it has announced three additional transactions. All of the acquired companies are profitable. Because most of these acquisitions include contingent payments, it is difficult to project future results for the company. Think of THK as a poor man’s IACI. THK’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Gerald Jacobs, and its Chairman, J. Benjamin Jennings, had previously teamed up at Metal Management, Inc., where they rolled up a number of entities in the scrap metal recycling business. Metal Management was highly leveraged and eventually went into Chapter 11 after the crash of the scrap metal market. The company's SEC filings can be found at: sec.gov | ||||||||||||||
