Does anyone know anything about frontier corp being a takeover candidate at $47.

A Wharton school graduate who is a very close friend of mine told me that there is currently an offer on the table for frontier corp for $47. I'm sorry but i cannot give his name out at this time, however, he is involved in an executive think tank group which meets in a different city monthly to brainstorm on all types of issues, it is here that a reported insider told him that the deal was on the table for $47 and it would be finalized soon. Is there anyone who knows why frontier corp would be a target? Their symbol is FRO and they are traded on the NYSE and they have a capitalization of around $4.5 billion, they are a diversified telecom services company.
