My name is Gary Grobbel. Some of you may know me from the Microcap Kitchen where I have been posting on stocks for many years. If you are an investor who's universe includes small caps and microcaps you are doing yourself a great disservice by not reading that board. Over the years we have collected some of the best and brightest in microcapland and the Kitchen is where they all post, myself included although I do not claim to possess that type of acumen.

That board has more or less become one huge family and one of the themes we stress there a great deal is people helping people. If someone has a question about ANYTHING someone will supply an answer or at least a source to find the answer. So we all work together for the common good and THE PRIMARY DIRECTIVE--which is to make money.

What I would like to try out here needs that same kind of support. Here is the premise: as the internet has taken over as the main supplier of investor information that is where we get most of our information no matter what the subject may be. And I am sure that by now both experienced and novice players have their favorite sites that help them locate or confirm their plays. There have to be literally thousands of sites out here that offer this angle or that angle to try and wean more from the markets to uncover winning plays. Sites that possess certain tools or methods to help locate an emerging play or watch bullish plays form up and get ready to march. Sites that may have the best/most useful news on micros or charts on same. Sites that give players backup for some of the investing ideas suggested by said site. Sites that have screening tools to find the plays you stipulate using those tools etc etc etc.

In other words any url that helps you both stay in and win the game. What I would like all to do is to come up with just a site or two to get started and then continue supplying additional helpful urls in your collection as we begin to see that it is working....that this thread is being successful in eliciting the best and brightest investment 'urls' that are available on the net. I look at this as a win-win situation. Other players may have questions about how that site is used or the author may expound a bit on why he or she considers the site to be a useful tool. We would all be supplying those urls that in essence help us make money. Yes you will be giving that up in terms of disclosing a site you find useful BUT the hope is here that if you join up to read the posts you will also make some contribution in terms of your own set of urls that you use to glean investing ideas, momo plays, some new angle or set of conditions that make this or that play viable.

If we all join in we will all gain from the experience. A site that Joe or Mary may not consider to be that useful could be picked up by some other player and he/she is screaming 'Eureka...I have finally found it'.

Again, this will only work if we all pitch in. I know I can count on some of you from the Kitchen to take part and I am grateful for that but we also need the brains of a whole lot of investors out there who are making money at least in part due to the information they uncover at some of their favorite sites. So while you would be giving up some of your primary attack weapons to the community you will be receiving a 10x or 20x return on your 'investment' in terms of gaining additional investment site 'urls' to bolster your own performance in the markets.

I know there are sites out here I wish I had. And I know I have sites others would like. And I know I have sites where unresolved questions of use would be helped greatly by someone who knew the ropes.

Collectively we are a force to be reckoned with...individually not so much the case. I prefer to be part of the force to be reckoned with.

RULES OF THE ROAD

-site will be moderated so I am hoping for the civil and helpful tone always present at the Kitchen.

-any site will do--pay or free. If it is a 'pay for' site with some real attractive aspects that decision can be left to the individual as to whether they want to 'pay to play'.

-it would be most helpful if you would just gives us a very brief explanation of the purpose of the site and how the site functions and/or some tips you may know on how to get the most out of it.

-and of course list the url in 'clickable' terms so we can hit it in your lead and go there immediately to look around.

-when you have a question or comment about a site it is critical for flow purposes that the url being discussed is listed at the beginning of your question or comment or an abridged but fully understandable version of the url is stated. This I consider to be critical.

-please disclose any spyware or malware issues that nay have been present at one time about the site.

That is that folks. I think this could be very helpful to all, including myself, if we just give it a shot. I will give it a few days and if there is no help forthcoming I will junk the site. I do like the idea however and although this may not the best way to get this done I think it's worth the time and effort to try and get this site off the ground and up and running.
