Hello, I'm new to this forum. I've been looking over the past year at a small airline in Hawaii called Hawaiian Holdings (Ticker: HA). This firm has a sizable amount of cash on its balance sheet, and has been very consistent in generating operating cash flow, and has stayed very profitable over the past few years. What I am struggling with is that I don't really know much about the airline industry, and I have trouble determining why this firm is able to be consistently profitable and generate such strong efficiency metrics like Roe and Roa. Any insight is much appreciated.
