Discussion of Galantas Gold. Galantas Gold with its Omagh Project is the only producing gold mine located in Ireland. The Omagh Project comprises the Cavancaw Mine located just west of Omagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The company also operates Galantas Irish Gold through which it sells gold jewellery fabricated from Irish gold from the Cavanacaw Mine. Management, in a trading statement dated july 5, 2011 stated that they expected recorded revenue of US$3.4m for the second quarter after refurbishing the mill to more accurately match the mills capabilities to the ore grade realised.
