Beat the Market creates investing themes through a top down analysis from global markets to specific industry sectors. Beat the Market then applies a bottom up approach in selecting specific stocks that outperform within these investing themes. Basically we follow two criteria... Undervalued growth stories. You gotta be undervalued and high growth.

Global currency debasement, debt monetization, and the rapid growth of emerging markets has led Beat the Market to identifying the materials sector as a sector that will outperform will these global conditions exist. Within the materials sector, commodities with current and upcoming supply demand constraints will continue to lead.

Other strong growth themes that seem to be making a resurgence is Biotech stocks as well as the technology space for names that are focus on core niche markets.

I thought it would be fun to rip off those dinosaur poster's CD and RR threads.

But here instead of beat the street and riding the coat-tails of tigers to play the zero sum game with other traders...

We aim to BEAT THE MARKET

Simple... I bring you stocks that consistently Beat the Market. I don't have time to watch charts all day long... so rest assured the companies I bring you are have been carefully scrutinized to fit these 2 investing criteria...

  1. Undervalued
  2. High Growth

I try and keep this portfolio somewhat up to date... my style... I trade very little... I like to buy early into a story and see it through... of course you have to take profits at some point... but I tend to let a top be confirmed and then get out... would way rather get 10% or 20% off the top than to leave the train early and leave 200% - 500% gains on the table.
