Tarsier Ltd. (TAER )- formerly Huayue Electronics, Inc., is a publicly traded Delaware Corporation with headquarters in New York City. Tarsier's mission is to provide "focused solutions for a brighter planet" in the form of energy, Energy Savings, Smart City and Big Data management technologies.
Tarsier is currently in the process of acquiring the assets of a number of companies in the energy sector. Once completed, these acquisitions will give Tarsier access to millions of commercial and residential energy customers that are currently purchasing electric and/or natural gas from various other energy re-sellers and utilities.
Tarsier has also acquired certain intellectual property assets and contracts from Demansys, creators of the proprietary Energy Management Software platform known as Grid Daemon. This innovative platform is now being re-branded and re-marketed as Tarsier's T-Flow Energy Management System.
Because of the role lighting plays in energy savings, Tarsier is seeking to build and acquire companies in that space, such as 1-800-NY-BULBS, a sales and service organization catering to high-end retailers throughout the Tri-State Area. Once acquired, the Company will expand the reach of 1-800-NY-BULBS into the consumer market with the planned launch of a new e-commerce portal that will sell LED Bulbs and other cutting-edge energy saving and home/business automation products nationwide.
Currently, Tarsier Innovations and its partners are market contenders in over $300 million worth of Smart City project tenders being evaluated worldwide. As a result, Tarsier Innovations, our business development arm, is continuing to forge new ground in data management as Big Data is a critical component of creating secure, effective and efficient Smart City infrastructures.
