The transition to driverless vehicles is on the horizon. It is likely to happen in stages over the next 30 years. This forum will discuss both the stages along the way -- that is, what is happening technologically and politically to enable it -- and the potentially vast social and economic ramifications, as it will inevitably have powerful political ripples, as many many people who are currently making good salaries driving one vehicle or another will be displaced. And many companies will inevitably be affected, for better and worse. So discussing which companies will be affected and how is also an important topic. Discussion of nvestment opportunities--long and short--are welcome.

It is intrinsic to this topic that political matters will be discussed. However, no personal insults or ad hominem comments will be tolerated. I will give one warning; on a second violation, you are gone.
