Airborne Wireless Network owns a patent on the concept of using existing commercial aircraft to carry microwave repeaters or routers for transporting digital content over long distances. When the patent was issued, practicable hardware did not exist to do the job. Repeater hardware eventually reached a point where both the size and price of it were reduced, so the plan could be implemented with a reasonable chance of economic success.Your opinions and comments are welcome, but please do not make personal attacks on contributors.
