Everyone knows about Costco's success over the past few decades. It remains one of the greatest business models of all time and that is reflected in the 40x earnings premium that the market has rewarded the company with. However, there are smaller companies that are following the same route - BJ's and PriceSmart - that could be attractive business models. Is it over for in-store retail with the likes of Amazon?
